B-RIGHT

Basketball education program advocating children's rights. It combines sports with awareness of children's rights.

B-RIGHT is an educational program committed to combine human rights with sports. Through simple basketball exercises, children will learn:
● why it is important to know their rights;● how to stand up for their rights and their own opinion;● how to protect themselves from various forms of abuse in their environment;● how to identify different types of social inequality that may hinder children's development, and much more.
The GOAL is to familiarize children and Ukrainian community with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child through interesting adapted basketball exercises in order to reduce discrimination against children in Ukraine.

The project is specifically designed for children aged 9-12, but can be easily tailored for younger or older participants.
